Hironaga Yai is a Japanese strategist with over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. His leadership has played a key role in shaping brand and business strategies for some of the most influential brands across Japan and Asia.
He has held senior roles at Dentsu Group (Dentsu Y&R), WPP (J. Walter Thompson, Wunderman Thompson), and the digital agency MediaMonks (now Monks). At WPP, he was instrumental in strengthening and integrating digital capabilities to enhance the agency’s digital solutions.
Throughout his career, he has worked with leading brands such as Nestlé, Häagen-Dazs, Danone, Unilever, Nike, Volvo, BMW, Japan Airlines, Bridgestone, Shiseido, Panasonic Energy, Fujitsu, and Hitachi. His work has earned recognition at Cannes Lions, Effie, and Clio Awards.
